How can I be sure of my salvation ?

Torahīs Law

Torahīs Law

There is at least 4 scriptures that tell us very clear that salvation is a gift given by Elohim (God) to us, and that can not be taken from Him: once truly saved, always saved.

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Lord Yeshua, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Yeshua His Son from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of Elohim through the faith of Yeshua unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:3-5)

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of Elohim, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. (Hebrews 10:35-39)

Paul is talking to christians by the faith of Elohim, that like any other mortal are unpaciante about the Lordīs return. He beautifully tells them in verse 38 :

(Hebrews 10:38) Now the just shall live by faith

by Elohim's faith, no our own; because when we are save by grace, it is not our decision, it is Elohim's decision through the faith he put it in us to acept Yeshua as Lord and Savior:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Elohim: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8).

Even repentance and the acknowleging of truth is given to us by Him:

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth ( 2 Timothy 2:25).

And this last verses Yeshua said it clearly that we never loose our Salvation:

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. (John 10:26-30)

In this verses two things should call our attention: First, those who seemed to have falling from grace Yeshua said in verse 26, they were never part of His sheep and Second, in verse 28 affirms without any doubt that those saved by the grace of Elohim, never will perish, nor even if somebody tries to do manipulate them.

1Co 3:13-15 Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Salvation is also present in the Torah (The Scriptures):

Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Deuteronomy 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff necked.

Deuteronomy 30:6 And YHVH thy Elohim will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love YHVH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Daily Torah - Bible Verses

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
