Purpose & Statement of Faith

Torah

Our Purpose

Messiahs Kingdom Ministries (AnswersInTorah.com was launched to reach those in spiritual need and that are looking for a purpose in this earth. We love and teach Yeshua as our Mashiach and keep the Law of YHWH stated between Exodus 12 and Deuteronomy 34, and the Laws of YHWH given through out the whole Torah from Genesis (Bereshit) to Revelation. We also encourage others to live a Nazarene Messianic Jewish life to honor and glorify YHWH.

We do not agree with: the Sacred Names Movement, Michael Rood, The Karaite Calendar, or any missguided teaching outside the Torah.

This site is the total responsibility of Messiahs Kingdom Ministries Inc., an independently faith ministry (Messianic Jewish Nazarene Ministry) and of the Ro'eh Yosef Ben Marques.

OUR DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF FAITH

As Nazarene Messianic Jews believers, we, Messiah's Kingdom Ministries, Inc., subscribe to the following declaration of faith

1. Elohim, his son Yeshua Ha Mashiach and Ruach haKodesh

We believe in the one and only living Elohim -- the Elohim of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya'akov (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) the Creator of heaven and earth, who is eternally existent in the plural unity revealed in the Shema: "Hear O Israel, Adonai is our Elohim, Adonai is one (echad) ." . We believe that the name, YHWH, derived from the Hebrew letters, Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey, is the covenantal name of the Holy One of Israel (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 11:1-2, Isaiah 61:1-3, Luke 4:18-21, John 17:21-24). There is only one God eternally existent and beside him there is no saviour. (Isaiah 43:10-11 ).
We believe Yeshua is Israel's promised Messiah and the Redeemer of the entire human race. By His life, death and resurrection, He fulfilled the messianic prophecies of the Tanack related to Messiah's first coming. The Messiah is the fullest revelation of Elohim to man. (Isa. 7:14, 9:6-7, 49:6, 53:1-12; Psa. 16:9-11)
His first coming, as the "suffering servant", was to make an atonement for sin (Daniel 9:24-26; Isaiah 53; Romans. 3:21-31; Hebrews 9-10; John 3:16-17).
His second coming in the air, as King, to receive the believers to Himself (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 14:1-6; I Corinthians. 15:51-57).
The Redeemer shall come to Zion (Isaiah 59:20-21; Zechariah 14:4).
We Believe in the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit), sent forth from the Father to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Messiah. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Messiah and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide.

2. The Scriptures

We believe the Scriptures of the Torah from Bereshit to Revelation are the inspired and inerrant Word of Elohim (2 Timothy 3:16-17) presenting to us the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and constituting the Divine and only rule of Messianic Jewish faith and practice (2 Peter 1:21). Its teachings is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (Deut. 6:4-9; Proverbs 3:1-6; Psalms 119:89,105; Isaiah 48:12-16; Romans. 8:14- 17). We do not follow traditions instituted by men. (Matthew 15:6)

3. Man, His Fall and Redemption (Salvation- Born again)

We believe that salvation is the gift of Elohim to man, made possible only through the meritorious work of Yeshua Ha Mashiach. Elohim revealed Yeshua as Lord and Savior unto us by his Ruaj Elohim, that we the elect (chosen in him before the foundation of the world) might know the things that are freely given to us of Elohim.(Corinthians 1, 2:11-12; John 12:38-40, 6:64-65, Mark 4:10-12, Romans 8:29-30, Acts 2:23,13:48). Entrance into the Kingdom of Elohim is define by a spiritual birth (John 3:1-6). consisting of Repentance, Immersion in waterfull the Mikvah., and an act by Elohim in which He fills an individual with His Ruach haKodesh (His Holy Spirit). Following this spiritual birth the believer should display a willingness to submit his/her own will to the will of Elohim expressed in His Torah/Law/Commandments (instructions Exodus 12 to Deuteronomy 34), which were given by Elohim (John 14:15, 15:10).

4.Olive Tree of Israel

We believe that when a Jew or non-Jew puts his trust in Yeshua as Messiah, they are grafted (or re-grafted) into the olive tree of Israel, by faith. Faith in Israels Messiah Yeshua makes one a member in the commonwealth of Israel. Our Father, Abraham believed Elohim and it was credited to him as righteousness. If we are in Messiah, we are Abrahams seed and heirs according to the Promise (Romans 11:17-27, John 8:33-39, Ephesians 2:11-19, Galatians 3:29).

5.The Believer and the Law of Moses

We believe the Law of Moses as a rule of life has been fulfilled in Messiah, but not eliminated. We believe the Torah is the instructions of a loving and gracious Father to His children. It is the perfect law that gives liberty. The Torah was not given for salvation or to earn favor with God. Instead, it is the loving instruction of how a redeemed people should live. The Torah was given through Moses to the covenant community of Israel. This Torah is the same for the native born of Israel, as it is for those who sojourn among them. The Torah is to be written on the hearts of New Covenant Believers. Honoring Torah is an act of love toward God and our fellow man. Yeshua kept His Fathers commandments and lived in His love. We are to walk as He walked. We are to obey YHWHs commandments and to hold to the testimony of Yeshua (Joshua 22:5, Exodus 12:49, Jeremiah 31:31-33, Hebrews 8:8-10, James 1:25, 1 John 2:3-6, 1 John 3:24, 1 John 5:3;Acts 21:24-26; Romans 6:14;8:2;10:4;14:1-23; 1 Corinthians 9:20; 2 Corinthians 3:1- 11; Ephesians 2:14 ).

6. The Body of Messiah and its Ministry

The true Congregation, universal, invisible and sanctified is built upon the Foundation of Yeshua (1 Corinthians 3:11; Ephesians 2:20), is the Body of our Lord (Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:27); Mashiaj being the Head (Ephesians 1:22; Colossians 1:18). Its earthly constituents are all true believers, born again of the Spirit (John 3:6) and of the Torah (Word) (1 Peter 1:23), who are living a Messianic Jewish Nazarene life (Ephesians 5:27; Revelation 21:27). Through its members, is delegated the various gifts and offices of the Ruaj Elohim (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 27, 28) which are necessary for the successful evangelization of the world and the perfecting of the Body of Mashiach (1 Corinthians 12:7; Ephesians 4:11, 12).
Under no circumstances should anyone be ordained (s michah) of Messianic Rabbis, Pastors, Elders,or set apart to any such office unless the calling of Elohim is distinct and evident: a clear testimony of Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Savior, love for people, a burden for those who dont know Mashiach, need to study Torah, a life characterized by prayer and humility, commitment to sound doctrine, iniciative and leadership skills.
Disagreements will be handled privately following the Matthew 18 guidelines.

7.Sabbath and Annual Feasts of the Lord (YHWH)

We believe that the weekly Sabbath and annual Feasts of the Lord (Yahweh) are "statutes forever" and should be celebrated by the body of faith represented by Believers in Yeshua. The feasts of the LORD, or moedim, are appointments for the Bride to meet with her Husband to learn more of Him and His Kingdom to come. We long for the day when His Kingdom is restored to Israel and His will is done on earth as it is in heaven (Leviticus 23, Zechariah 14:16-19, Matthew 6:10, Acts 1:6, Revelation 22:17).

8.Family Life

We believe the family is the basic unit of the community of faith founded through the uniting of one man to one woman in holy matrimony. From the beginning, marriage is depicted and described as one man married to one woman, in the uniting of Adam and Eve. This Biblical depiction and description is confirmed by Yeshua and His Bride. The family unit is the basis of Biblical nurture. The Torah commandments are to be taught diligently to our children as we walk by the way and as we lie down. These commandments, written on our hearts, are the basis of the Spirit of Elijah that is being restored in our day (Genesis 2:24 2 Corinthians 11:2, Ephesians 5:31-33, Ephesians 6:4, Deuteronomy. 6:7, Malachi 4:4-6).

9. The Resurrection of the Just and The Coming of the Lord

The Torah promises, "This same Yeshua shall so come in like manner" (Acts 1:11). His coming is imminent; when He comes, "The dead in Mashiach shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air" (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17) .He shall return to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousand years (Revelation 20:6), in Jerusalem, where He will fully establish His Kingdom rule and reign over Israel and over all the nations of the earth, thereby fulfilling the eternal Davidic Covenant.

10. Israel

The nation of Israel is chosen by Elohim to be a channel of blessing to all the nations on earth. The return of the Jewish people to their land is in fulfillment of biblical prophecy. The day will come when Israel as a nation will accept Yeshua Ha Mashiach. Then shall the Torah go forth from Zion. After Yeshua returns, He shall establish His worldwide rule from Jerusalem. (Gen. 12:1-3; Isa. 11; Zech. 12:10, 13:1)

Daily Torah - Bible Verses

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
