Even Messianic Jews have Spiritual Battle

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4:18)

WHAT IS IT?

The Spiritual Battle or Spiritual Warfare is a ministry given to every Hebrew Roots Christian believer in this earth. In Mark 16:17 tell us:

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils"

Paul affirms us that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12).

Every day in the spiritual realm there are battles being fought, if we could only visualize those battles and see the importance they have we will have a great sense of urgency to learn how to participate for the glory of God.

When we help others get delivered from spiritual oppression we gave them an opportunity to open their eyes to the Gospel and be saved. In a way we evangelize, rescuing them from enemy territory where they were being held captives.

"And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:7-8)

THE WAY YESHUA DID IT

Yeshua went to Peter's house. His mother-in-law had a fever and Yeshua went to help her. " And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. " (Luke 8:39-41)

In this example Yeshua first rebukes the fever and then heals, the same thing He did when he treat some of the others: the devils also came out of many.

"A great multitude of people out of all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed."These and others verses indicate that some sicknesss have a demonic origen and Yeshua treat them first like a spiritual battle and them like a healing process.

CONCLUSION

We are in a war that we can not see with our physical eyes, a war that ultimately Elohim will win and have won already through Yeshua Ha Mashiach.

We can battle for salvation:

"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. " (2 Corinthians 4:4)

we can battle for healing as we have seen Yeshua doing and we can battle to take away some of the troubles in our lives or our ministries cause by demonic activity in the lives of believers, but always our focus should be in Christ and his redemption work on Calvary, thats where our authority in this battle rests.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of Elohim, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Elohim: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (in silence), and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians 6:13-18)

HOW TO MAINTAIN THE AUTHORITY OF YESHUA

gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.(Luke 9:1)

1.Acknowledge always that Hashem is the one fighting (1 Samuel 17:4)
2.Acknoledge that Yeshua is the one that gave us power (Luke 10:19)
3.Do not let yourself be worried with the affairs of this life (2 Timothy 2:3-4)
4.Do not be afraid of this fight (2 Tymothy 1:7)( Luke 10:19)
5.Maintain a good personal relationship with Elohim (J0hn 4:24)
6.Pray and fast constantly (Matthew 17:21)
7.Have faith in Adonai's promises and who Yeshua is (John 3:15)
8.Be obedient to the Spirit (John16:13)
9.Have a submissive attitude (Matthew 18:4; Luke 14:6)
10.Be faithful stewardship (Luke 6:38)
11.Keep your focus in Yeshua always (2 Corinthios 10:5)
12. Keep all the commandments of Elohim in His Torah and the New Testament

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
