Prayers For All Occasions

prayers

To pray is to talk to Elohim . Every time we pray bring to Him all your problems, difficulties, new proyects or desires. We should pray all the time: in your house, with your husband or wife, with your children, at work, or restaurant, alone or in prayer groups. Some of us have more problems articulating a prayer than others. In these cases we can use a little bit of help. These prayers will help start a prayer, but once we are in the middle of it we should use our own words, deep from our hearts, to thank, honor, bless others and ask Elohim for those things He knows we need, like we are talking to a parent. We allways should ask the Holy Spirit to help us to pray.

The Lord's Prayer
(Matthew 6:9-13).
Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.

Prayer Of Spouses For Each Other
Lord Yeshua , grant that I and my spouse may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths. Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self.
May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection.
Amen.

Thanksgiving Prayer
Thank You, O Elohim , for hearing my prayer and granting my request. Thank You for all the kindness You have shown me.
Thank You, Father, for Your great love in giving me my life, for Your great patience in preserving me despite my sinfulness, for Your protection in the past and for the opportunity to serve and honor You in the future.
Thank You, Lord Yeshua , for keeping me numberless times from sin and death by the toils of Your life, the sufferings of Your Passion, and by Your victorious Resurrection.
Thank You, Holy Spirit of Elohim , for bestowing so many graces upon my soul and for having so frequently renewed Your life within me.
May my life, from now on, be a sign of my greatfulness. Amen.

Prayer In Time Of Suffering
Behold me, my beloved Yeshua , weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings, I cast myself at Your feet, that You may renew my strength and my courage, while I rest here in Your Presence.
Permit me to lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart, for only Your infinite goodness can sustain me; only Your love can help me bear my cross; only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight.
O Divine King, Yeshua , whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted, I wish to live in You; suffer and die in You. During my life be to me my model and my support; at the hour of my death, be my hope and my refuge.
Amen.

Prayer for Forgiveness
Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done, and there is no health in us.
But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us miserable offenders. Spare thou them, O Elohim , which confess their faults. Restore thou them that are penitent, according to thy promises declared unto mankind in Christ Yeshua our Lord.
And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may hereafter live a Elohim ly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of thy holy name.
Amen.

Morning Prayer of Thanks
How good it is to give thanks to Thee, O Lord, and to sing praises to Thine exalted Name; to declare Thy loving kindness at the break of the day, and Thy faithfulness during the night.
O Lord, hearken to our voice at the dawn of the day, and in the morning let us be found ready by Thee.
O Lord absolve and pardon all our sins. O Holy one, over shadow Thy right hand upon us, and heal all our infirmities for the sake, of Thy eternal Name.
Amen

Mealtime Prayers
Dear Elohim , We Are Gathered Here,
To Give Thanks For The Food
You Have Set Before Us.
We Also Give Thanks For This Beautiful Day,
And for our Friends, And the Opportunity To Be Together.
May Elohim 's Blessing, Grace and Peace
Rest Upon Us, Forever
Amen

Thank you for the gifts we are about to receive and let us remember that it is by Your hands that we are fed. Amen.

Thank you for this lovely day, guide us in the rightful way. Bless our families and our friends. Amen.

Prayer For The Terminally Ill
A Prayer for a sick person, when there appears to have small hope of recovery
O Father of mercies, and Elohim of all comfort, our only help in time of need; We fly unto thee for succor in behalf of this thy servant, here lying under thy hand in great weakness of body. Look graciously upon him/her, O Lord; and the more the outward person decayeth, strengthen him/her, we beseech thee, so much the more continually with thy grace and holy Spirit in the inner person.
Give him/her unfeigned repentance for all the errors of his/her life past, and steadfast faith in thy Son Yeshua ; that his/her sins may be done away by thy mercy, and his/her pardon sealed in heaven, before he/she go hence, and be no more seen.
We know, O Lord, that there is no word impossible with thee; and that, if thou wilt, thou canst even yet raise him/her up, and grant him/her a longer continuance amongst us: Yet, forasmuch as in all appearance the time of his/her dissolution draweth near, so fit and prepare him/her, we beseech thee, against the hour of death, that after his/her departure hence in peace, and in thy favor, his/her soul may be received into thine everlasting kingdom, through the merits and mediation of Yeshua Christ, thine only Son, our Lord and Savior.
Amen

Daily Torah - Bible Verses

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
