How the pentacostalism excesses are influencing Messianic Ministries

Mat 24:4-5; 9-12 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (10) And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."

The Evangelical Pentecostal Movement, is a rapidly growing global phenomenon. Even though it is a very popular way to start a church, and has reach mora then 200 million people, many of its practice has degenerated, in pervertions that has lead many to being deceived, and lost tract of their relation with the Creator: Elohim. That I know personaly for a fact after being in the movement for 17 years, and having left to be a Messianic Jew Pastor, I have seen this movement permiate some Messianic Kehilahs. Remember Elohim (God) can not be deceived.

Some of this, "Manifestations of the Power of the Spirit" as they called it are:

1. Staggering as though drunk, encourage believers to get "drunk on the Spirit". They missused Eph 5:18 "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit"
2. Slain in the Spirit: being overcome by the Holy Spirit so that you fall down. (found in scripture like being taking by the Spirit of the Lord).This manifestation can be real comming from the Spirit of the Lord if its done in a control and biblical way.
3. Being overcome by the Spirit and laughing uncontrollably. (not found in scripture).
4. Barking like a dog, roaring like a lion. (found in scripture, but only for devil spirits).
5. Some people shake as though having a seizure or twitch, like in Kundalini meditation (an hindu practice, not found in scripture).
6. Rolling around on the floor, like a rapper show. (not found in the scriptures).

Most of these experiences, look too similar to the Hindu kundalini practices, of pagan worshipers.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament.
