Torah�s Law

Since the beginning of time Elohim has warned us about the dangers of seeking knowledge outside the Creator (Himself)

(Leviticus 19:31) -- Turn not unto necromancers and unto soothsayers; seek not after them to make yourselves unclean: I am Jehovah your Elohim.

(Deuteronomy 18:9-12) When thou art come into the land which Jehovah thy Elohim giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you he that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, that useth divination, that useth auguries, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or one that inquireth of a spirit of Python, or a soothsayer, or one that consulteth the dead. For every one that doeth these things is an abomination to Jehovah

The Torah warns against the false predictions(astrology, tarot or anything else):

Dan 2:1-2,10 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king...(10) The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the kings matter: therefore there is no king, master, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

Elohim also condemns the associated practice of worshipping the sun, moon and stars:

Jer 8:1-3 At that time, saith YHVH, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves: And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith YHVH of hosts.

(Isaiah 47:13-13) Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the interpreters of the heavens, the observers of the stars, who predict according to the new moons what shall come upon thee, stand up, and save thee. Behold, they shall be as stubble, the fire shall burn them

In the Christian Scriptures it says very clear to avoid anything that has to do with demons:

(1 Corinthians 10:20-21) But that what [the nations] sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to Elohim . Now I do not wish you to be in communion with demons. Ye cannot drink [the] Lord's cup, and [the] cup of demons: ye cannot partake of [the] Lord's table, and of [the] table of demons.

Even on today�s society we still believe and use all this �spiritual guides� to walk us through life. Horoscopes and spiritual advisers are in the mass media offering their services at any price, enticing people to their cults and beliefs, promising prosperity, good health and everything their hearts desire. But all of them are deceiving: creating a momentary fantasy, promising everyone something they can not deliver.

(1 Timothy 4:1) But the Spirit speaks expressly, that in latter times some shall apostatise from the faith, giving their mind to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons.

So please be carefull and do not get involve in anything not of Elohim in this world.

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
