Do you obtain Salvation by keeping the Law of Moses?

Chuch of Christ

We are saved by:

1.A gift of Faith of Elohim:
"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of Elohim (God)."(Ephesians 2:8)
2.By the Salvation obtain by the power of the blood of Yeshua:
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
"For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
4.By believing in our heart, and confession of our mouth:
"For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation." (Romans 10:10)
5.By being seal by The Holy Spirit through out the whole process:
"In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise." (Ephesians 1:13)
6. By being predesting from the beginning from YHWH:
"But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brothers beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth."(2 Thessalonians 2:13)
7.By the comming of the Messiah thought the jewish people:
"You worship you know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews."(John 4:22)
Where we saved by our acts, our good nature or by the Law of Moses?

No. We were saved by the gift of Elohim, the blood of Yeshua, the beliving in our heart, the confession of our mouth and the will of YHWH. But once we were saved, once we came from darkness toward the light, because we love what Yeshua did for us, we follow what he ask of us:

"If you love me (Yeshua=YHWH), keep my commandments."(John 14:15)
"And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:That they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God."(Ezekiel 11:19-20)
And as all His followers in the First Century did:
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."(Revelation 14:12)
"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous."(1 John 5:2-3)

Daily Torah - Bible Verses

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
