We Messianic Jews keep His (God's) commandments (1 John 3:21)

Prayer

Yeshua said: "If all of you love me, keep my commandments."(John 14:15) and that: "He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." (John 14:21)

Phillip Patterson, One retiree from New York state in the US has spent four years writing the entire Bible (King James Bible (1611)-788,000 words). But after all this work, that we applaud, he doesn't believe in everything the Bible says, he has his right to do so, but least he read the whole book. See the complete information in BBC.co.uk

We should do as Yeshua says, and read the Bible with all intention to understand what it says. There is a lot of books that helps to establish a reading plan to do so. But we should remember that reading other books about the Scriptures does not complete the commandment of Elohim.

John the Apostle said very clearly in his letters that we should keep God's Commandments: "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him." (1 John 2:3-5) or "Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."(1 John 3:21-23)

Even affirms in his First Letter of John 5:2-3: "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John in Revelation affirms that the saints "should keep the commandments of God" and the "testimony of Jesus Christ".

"And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."(Rev 12:17)

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12)

So keep reading the Bible day by day, through your life. Also read it to your sons and daughters so they know the commandments of Elohim and follow them.

Daily Torah - Bible Verses

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
