We,Messianic Jews, are Jews by faith in Messiah

New

All Messianic Jews are jews by faith, and we also establish the law, because we call upon the name of YHVH to be saved:

(Rom 2:28-29)For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of YHVH.

(Rom 3:29-31) Is he the Elohim of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: Seeing it is one Elohim, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? By no means: yea, we establish the law.

(Rom 10:12-13) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Sovereign over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of YHVH shall be saved.

We are of the seed of Abraham, an heirs according to the promise.

(Gal 3:28-29) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in the Messiah Yeshua. And if ye be the Messiahs, then are ye Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise.

(Gal 4:21-23) Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

(Gal 4:28-29) Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

We are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of YHVH

(Eph 2:14-16) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto YHVH in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

(Eph 2:17-19) And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of YHVH

So as you can see, we who believe in Yeshua are jews by faith.

NOTE: Many people mistakenly have taken this fact "we are jews by faith" and tried to tell the Jews People, those by lineage or parentage, that they also should be considered Jews also. Yeshua never stated that we will become Jews like those by lineage or parentage. or legally be accepted as Israeli citizens. We are:

(Ephesians 2:18-22 (UKJV)) "For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore all of you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of Elohim ; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua Ha Mashiaj himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom all of you also are built together for an habitation of Elohim through the Spirit."

As we can see we are jews by faith in a spiritual sense by "having access by the same Spirit unto the Father".

All branches of Orthodox Judaism, Reform Judaism and Conservative Judaism, based the Jews status of a person according to the halakha laws:

1.When both parents are Jewish, their child will is considered Jewish, and the child takes the status of the father.
2.If one of the parents is not Jewish, the child takes the status of the Jewish mother.
3.All Jewish movements agree that a person may be a Jew through conversion to the Jewish Faith.
4.The acceptance of the principles and practices of Judaism does not make a person a Jew.
5.Jewish born people do not lose that status because they stop being observant Jews, even they adopt another religion.

See the following texts in the Torah:
(Ezra 10:2-3 (ASV)) "And Shecaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our Elohim, and have married foreign women of the peoples of the land: yet now there is hope for Israel concerning this thing. Now therefore let us make a covenant with our Elohim to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our Elohim; and let it be done according to the law."

(Deut 7:1-5 (ASV)) "When Jehovah thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and shall cast out many nations before thee, the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; and when Jehovah thy God shall deliver them up before thee, and thou shalt smite them; then thou shalt utterly destroy them: thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them; neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For he will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of Jehovah be kindled against you, and he will destroy thee quickly. But thus shall ye deal with them: ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and hew down their Asherim, and burn their graven images with fire."

So, please do not claimed descent from the biblical Israelites, unless you can prove it. Please respect Jewish identity, laws and religious precepts embraced by practicing Jews. Remember they are our brothers in Mashiach and we should love the Jewish People and the Jewish Nation (Israel), the chosen people of our Elohim and our Mashiach Yeshua.

Daily Torah - Bible Verses

How do we apply scripture to real life as Messianic Jews - Nazarene?

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

In these pages you will find how you and us as Messianic Jews- Nazarene following the whole Torah applying it to real life and live a successful and meaningful existence as observants of Torah, answering all our questions through it and through Yeshua the Messiah.

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
