How to live as a Nazarene Messianic Jew

If you want to experience the blessings of living the life of a Nazarene Messianic Jewish person and are in fellowship with Elohim (God), you will want to learn more about how to grow closer to Him, and to try to live a life that pleases Him .

A Nazarene Messianic Jews life includes marriage, money and financial matters, difficulties, ill health, temptations, blessings and sufferings, parenting, spirituality and many things, but all through the eyes of a new perspective when you have Yeshua (Jesus) as the guide in your life.

What it means to be a Messianic Jewish person?

A disciple of Yeshua is a man, woman and child that has establish a relationship with YHWH (God) , has given his or her life to Him, confess their sins to the world and serve Him every day of your life. If you have accepted Yeshua as Lord and Saviour, you are now a daughter or son of YHWH (John1:12), who has eternal life (John 3:36) and Elohim (God) has changed you into a new creature (2 Peter 1: 3-4).

Nazarene Messianic Jews are people whose sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim (God), follow the Complete Torah (from Genesis to Revelation) through the acceptance of the Son of Elohim, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) and follow his steps no matter what.

They all have some basic similarities:

* A love for Elohim above everything

* A clear testimony of Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) as Savior and Son of YHWH

* A love to read Elohim's Word the Torah and follow all of His commandments including Sabbath, Law of Moses (without the sacrificial laws) and the Biblical Festivals.

* Love for all people, with no hate or envy in your heart

* A burden for those who don't know Mashiach

* A life characterized by moral purity and humility

* Commitment to sound doctrine based on the Torah

How to keep the Laws of YHWH and the Salvation of Yeshua?

Now that you are a disciple of Mashiach you can grow in your spiritual life being and doing what YHWH decides for your life. If you like to be used by Adonai (Lord) you should:

1.-READ AND STUDY YOUR Torah (Bible) : Set aside at least 15 minutes away for Bible studies and YHWH 's will talk to you through his word and guide you. 1 Peter 2:2. "The word of Elohim is fruit to your spirit" Memorize a Bible’s verse weekly.
Learn about the Lord (Adonai) by joining a Bible class.
You can begin by study the Laws applicable to you in the Laws of YHWH between Exodus 12 and Deuteronomy 34, and the Laws of Yeshua to apply them to your life right now.

Remember as it says in Joshua 1:8 "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

2.-PRAY CONSTANTLY: To pray is to talk to the Almighty. Talk to him about everything in your life: happy moments, difficulties, new projects or desires. Pray all the time, in your house, with your spouse, at work, alone or in groups. At least do it twice a day, after saying the Shema and the scripture at Deuteronomy 6:4-9, and you will see the difference in every aspect of your life.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing pray to YHVH with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto Him. ” Philippians 4:6

3.-KEEP AWAY FROM EVIL: Keep your distance from negative persons, offensive books or videos ..You were once captive, but now you are victorious and free in Yeshua. .....Read Psalm 1. Try to reach the captives that live in darkness so they know Yeshua, but do not make them your companions.

4.-JOIN A COMMUNITY OF FAITH: Help YHWH in His plans to grow the church and be a faithful steward with the talents that Him gave you. . Be part of a community that proclaims the truth of the Gospel with authority and be with faithful servants and learn more from the Word of YHWH . Look for a congregation where you keep the Shabbat, the Feasts of Elohim, and study the Torah. The Scriptures Says: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. .” Hebrews 10:25

5.-APPLY THE COMMANDMENTS OF DEUTERONOMY 6:4-9 : Elohim asks of you: to love Him with all your heart, soul and mind, more than anybody else, and twice a day remind youself of this commandment the Shema. Also to use the Mezuzah to remind you of His Laws everytime you enter or live your house, apartment or office.

6.-GIVE YOUR TITHES AND OFFERINGS TO THE LORD: Elohim has made you prosperous . ( 1 Corinthians 16:2) “Every man according as the purpose in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver..” 2 Corinthians 9:7. See why Yeshua ordained to tithe.

7.-DO NOT BECOME DISCOURAGED : Expect temptations, doubts and persecutions: “and all that will live godly in Yeshua the Messiah shall suffer persecution..”. 2 Timothy 3:12 Elohim is your refuge and your brothers and sisters in Christ are there to help you. If you have problems let�s you and us agree in prayer so Elohim intervines in your time of need Prayer Request

8.OFFER YOUR TALENTS TO YHVH : “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity. Romans 12:6-8.

9.HOPE FOR THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: The Bible show us that the Second Coming of Christ will be visible to all and with power “and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” Matthew 24:30, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ” 1 Thessalonians 4:16 We hope you have an extraordinary and abundant Hebrew Roots Christian life. Amen.

10.-WIN SOMEBODY FOR CHRIST: To grow spiritually you need to help others discover Yeshua (Jesus) and show them the wonders of Christ’s Love.” Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel wih respect to every creature.” Mark 16:15. Explain to others in your own words how do you came to know Him and what changes brought into your life. Use our Know Yeshua Page as your guide.

11.LOVE ISRAEL AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND PRAY ALWAYS FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM: Remember always that Yeshua our Lord was a devoted jew, who love His people with all his heart. (Read Psalm 122:6-7).

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)

Why we use Hebrew names here

Messianic Jews - Nazarene love Elohim and use the original names of the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Tanakh - Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true. The real names are Yeshua and Elohim. Read More
