Messianic Jews who love Elohim use the original names of the Hebrew Bible in their daily prayers and in their congregations. The words "Jesus" and "Jehova" are not the original names that appear in the Hebrew Bible or the Greek New Testament. They are transliterations that all have use for so many centuries that almost become true,

If your name was "Michael", you would not like people to call you "Miguel",even when it means the same in Spanish, definally not. So in this site we used the original names written in the Bible.

NAMES USED IN THIS SITE

ADONAI--The Lord
MASHIACH--The Messiah
ELOHIM--God
YESHUA--Jesus
RUAJ JAKODESH--Holy Spirit
TORAH--5 First books of the Hebrew Bible (Genesis to Deuteronomy). Also used to refer to the whole Bible.
TANACK--The Hebrew Bible from Genesis to Malachi
BRIT HADASHAH- New Testament (called "Renovated Covenant")
YAHVE or YHWH--Personal name of Elohim formed with the letters of the tetragrammaton, with the vowels from ADONAI. It is used normally in private praise or prayer, no public because of Deu 12:3-4: pronounce: "iaue"

And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.(4) Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

So, it is more comun to use YHVH or YHWH in the written word.

We don't use HaShem (the name) since YHWA has a proper name; He just said not to use His Holy Name in vain.

MESSIANIC JEWISH PEOPLE or MESSIANIC JEWS -- Christians or Jews who believe in Yeshua as their Messiah and who follow the Hebraic Roots of their faith.

Our sole purpose in life is to love and glorify Elohim, read the Torah everyday and follow all it's commandments through the Hebrew roots of our faith

We comply with what our Lord Yeshua said in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" and only then you could be "persuaded in your own mind."

Therefore, "Let no man therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holiday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days" (Col 2:16)
