Leviticus 20: 7-8 "Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am YHWH your Elohim. And you shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you"
Leviticus 11:44 "For I am YHWH your Elohim: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves (by keeping the Torah), and ye shall be holy; for I am holy".
1 Peter 1: 14-16 and 22: "As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. .... Since in obedience to the truth (The law of YHWH) have purified your souls for a incere brotherly love, love one another deeply, from the heart. "
WHAT CAN WE DO TO BE HOLY?
We can read in Levitucos Chapters 17 (prohibition of eating blood), 18 (Acts Prohibited immorality), 19 Laws of holiness and justice), 21 (Holiness of the priests), 22 (Holiness offerings) and 23 (Holiness in Feasts of the Lord),examples of how we should be holy following and keeping the commandments of Elohim and faith in our Messiah Yeshua.
WHY DO THE COMMANDMENTS OF ELOHIM?
1-Because Lev 10:10 "that you make a distinction between the holy and the profane, between the unclean and the clean, and that ye shall teach the children of Israel all the statutes which YHWH has told them through Moses. "
2-Because Rom 7:12 "So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good."
3-Because Rom 8:27 "He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of Elohim".
4-Because Rom 12: 2 "And be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what the will of Elohim ,: what is good and acceptable and perfect.
5-Because 1 Corinthians 3:17 "If any man defile the temple of Elohim, Elohim will destroy him, for the temple of Elohim is holy, and that's what you are."
WE ARE HOLY BECAUSE YHWH MAKES US SAINTS
1-He choose us: Ephesians 1: 3-5 "Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Yeshuas, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Messiah, as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will "
2-He reconciled us with YHWH: Col 1: 20-22 "and through him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him, I say, whether they are on earth or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy, without spot and blameless before Him.
WHY BE HOLY?
1-Because our prayers will reach Elohim: Apo 5: 8 "When he took the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. " and Rev. 8: 4 "And the angel's hand went up before Elohim the smoke of incense with the prayers of the saints."
2-Receive reward from YHWH: Apo 11:18 "And the nations were angry, and Your wrath came and the time to judge the dead and for rewarding your servants the prophets and the saints and those who reverence your name, small and great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth. "
3-Because Yeshua gives us to drink the blood of lifestyle: Revelation 16: 6 "because they have shed the blood of saints and prophets and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve."
4-Because we will be your girlfriend at the end of time: I Revelation 19: 7-8 "Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has arrived and his wife has been prepared and it was granted. arrayed in fine, bright and clean linen is the righteousness of the saints are the fine linen. "
5-Because we should honor the holiness given to us: Revelation 22:11 "Let the unjust continue doing injustice, the unclean remains unclean, the right continue to do right, and that which is holy continue to be holy."
Therefore we say that we are Messianic Jews because: Revelation 14:12 "Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of Elohim and the faith of Yeshua".
